GlobeVista and Celebrate WA
The My Place in The World project was a partnership initiative between GlobeVista and Celebrate WA with the kind support of the Western Australian Department of Education and Training, Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia and Catholic Education Office of Western Australia.
The project was an opportunity for Western Australian school children to present a fresh snapshot of Western Australia though their eyes. The project involved school student creating short video clips on what they thought was important to them, what they liked to do, where they hang out and what was interesting and cool about their place in the world.
The project ran for two years and saw children from all over the State, including remote areas, sharing their clips. The top entrants were invited to Government House to be presented with certificates.
